Do we expect to be surprised by this?

I've seen him get close to the boiling point many times, with guests and his own colleagues. A couple of months ago he had Rivera on, talking with him about a crime committed by an illegal immigrant, and he really got testy over Rivera's remarks. Not that Rivera was disagreeing with Bill, but Rivera was trying to explain something that I think Bill took the wrong way, and Bill just started being obnoxious and loud.

The odd thing about it is that I think because the show is taped, there was a sudden, barely noticeable difference in Bill's behavior; one second he's quite loud, the next, he's still quite upset, but had settled down, like, too quickly. I think Fox edited out a portion of the conversation that got very caustic.

Bill does have a short fuse, and no wonder many potential guests turn him down...who wants to be in the presence of a ticking time bomb? His anger is evident...I wouldn't doubt he might try physically lashing out, as well.

I'll always worship the ground...that awaits him.
