Thankfully it's not really that way anymore, but it sure used to be. I can remember buying my "cutting edge" Pentium 75 TWO DAYS before the Pentium 100's came out. Of course, my next computer the "super" Pentium II with Microsoft Windows 98 and the "awesome" 56k modem was obsolete the day it came out of the box.

        It was depressing.

Wow, I had an awesome Pentium II with Windows 98 and a 56k modem, I built it myself and literally two days after I bought my CPU and motherboard the Pentium III came out. My friends had a good laugh over that. Oh yeah, it was just hysterical.

Back in the day... It was depressing for me when I paid $400 bucks for a 350MB hard drive. 4 months later, they were obsolete and being sold for $130 bucks!

          LMAO, hahahaaahaahahaaaa.

I guess there won't be a Bates 10,000. I'm happy with what I have, although I could use a new keyboard. Spewed to much coffe and water on this one from the humor and instant laughing response.

          Good one ind06

Note to self: Don't drink anything while reading the humor stories that ind06 has to offer.
