Two-dimensional? That may be giving them twice the credit they deserve.

The heil Blitzer bit is more subtle and profound that it first seems. Not NeoNazi, but NeoCon (of the zionist stripe that shares with nazism the ideas of "master race", "subhumans", "living space for the master race", and "ethnic cleansing / genocide for the subhumans".
Otherwise, the video simply emphasizes the extent to which the media is not longer in the hands of thinking American patriots interested in the well being of their country, but rather in the hands of corporate interests that profit from the "national security state".

I'll never forget the on air comment that "The Blitz" made regarding some of the victims of hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.
"...they are so poor, and so black". Lol! Just another day at the office.

Thanks Fedquip and tehranchik ...
With msm in shambles and the first amendment on the ropes, might as well at least be able to turn on Jon "Daily," get some perspective, and laugh a bit.

Thanks for the heads=up, Tehranchik & for the video Fedquip!
This is just so - SO stupid. It was political satire -
as such, it was meant to be thought-provoking and controversial - mission accomplished!
It was not supposed to be a knee-slapper.

...I get it. ...the artist even states, "I think the idea that the Obamas are branded as unpatriotic (let alone as terrorists) in certain sectors is preposterous. It seemed to me that depicting the concept would show it as the fear-mongering ridiculousness that it is."
But here's the rub: Those who would never pick up the New Yorker, or even understand the intention of the satire, are the ones who will use this as confirmation that Obama is a Muslim or that he's a terrorist. The nutjob talking heads have already started.
Do I think it will have long-term damaging effects for Obama? Well, no, not really. The dumbasses who actually believe the myths satirized wouldn't vote for Obama anyway.
...IMO it is negative energy in the discourse. And I would be lying if I said I didn't find the drawing offensive.
That is what I wrote on July 15th. But after a few days I have come to realize I chat with nutballs who actually believe all those lies.
Now I view the drawing as brilliant!

Is a nobel endeavor. If every one who considered themselves to be America Firsters, could change one mind at a time, then over time many minds would be exposed to the truth and many of those would come to realize that both sides of this mighty abyss today could someday fill that void with understanding.
What then would America look like.
A profound statement tehranchik.
