The allegation in Ron Suskind's new book that the White House ordered the CIA to forge evidence of a link between Iraq and al Qaeda is so incredibly grave that it demands a serious response from the government. If what Suskind writes is true -- or even partially true -- someone at the highest levels of the White House engaged in a criminal conspiracy to deceive the American public.

  Sadly, the same way they've made everything else go away. They'll deny it ever happened, destroy evidence and stonewall requests for information.

. lied about WMD in Ira.
. lied about Iraq getting nuclear weapons
. lied about kidnapping people off the streets
. lied about torture
. lied about warrantless wiretapping

Now who will believe these liars. According to them everyone is a liar and telling lies except them who they claim are honest and forthcoming. The list includes:

. Gates

. Snow
. Perino
. etc.,etc.,
